Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human liver cancer tissue stained for IDH1 using 59993 at 1/100 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence IDH1 antibody (59993)

ICC/IF staining of IDH1 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% Paraformaldehyde permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100.
Samples were incubated with 59993 at a working dilution of 1/100. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor® 488 goat anti rabbit, used at a dilution of 1/500.
Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI.
Genetic variations are associated with cartilaginous tumors such as enchondroma or chondrosarcoma. Mutations of Arg-132 to Cys, Gly or His abolish the conversion of isocitrate to alpha-ketoglutarate. Instead, alpha-ketoglutarate is converted to R(-)-2-hydroxyglutarate.
