Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue stained for Caspase 3 using 60265 at 1/100 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis.
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence Caspase 3 antibody (60265)

ICC/IF staining of Caspase 3 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% Paraformaldehyde permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100.
Samples were incubated with 60265 at a working dilution of 1/100. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor® 488 goat anti rabbit, used at a dilution of 1/500.
Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI.
This gene encodes a protein which is a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues to produce 2 subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme.
